Alright reloaders, we've all been there - that horrible moment when a brass case gets stuck in your sizing die. Instead of panicking or risking damage to your expensive dies, this RCBS stuck case remover is your solution. It works with any brand of standard sizer dies and uses a simple two-step process that won't damage your die. The kit includes everything you need: a tap, drill bit, allen screw, allen wrench, and the remover body itself. Here's how it works: first you unscrew the expander-decapping rod until the pin is clear of the stuck case's primer flash hole. Secure the die in a vice (important for safety!), then drill through the primer pocket and flash hole with the included drill bit. Next, you tap the case head with the 1/4 inch-20 tap, place the remover body on the case head, and turn the cap screw with the allen wrench until the case pulls free from the die. The case will be ruined, but that's better than ruining an expensive die! The quality is typical RCBS - solid materials and smart design that just works. This is one of those tools you might not need often, but when you do need it, you'll be so glad you have it. Much cheaper than replacing damaged dies or taking them to a shop for extraction. Whether you're a seasoned reloader or just getting started, this is essential insurance for your reloading setup.
